Vendor Fair & Garage Sale, whether you are a business selling products or services, selling handmade items or individual wanting to clean out your house before the holidays. It's not too late to sign up and SELL your stuff! Booth spots are only $25! Boutique items, local businesses, food sales, and garage sale spots available! Reflections Art Program - Due Nov 8th
Accepting Imperfection… is the Reflections theme for 2024-2025!
DEADLINE: November 8, 2024
Reflections has been a staple arts program in many schools for over 50 years. Through the efforts of our Local PTAs, millions of students have found a creative outlet in the areas of dance choreography, film production, literature, music composition, photography, and visual arts.
Read the Program Rules to ensure their art meets the requirements for each art category. One Student Entry Form is required for each art submission. Contact our Reflections chair with any questions at reflections@davisptawylie.com. View rules and submit entries on our Reflections website below.
Boo Grams on Sale Now until Oct 25
Davis PTA is selling Boo Grams now until October 25th. We have the choice of Hershey's Chocolate Bar and/or Vanilla Popcorn Bags. These will be delivered to the recipients on Thursday, October 31st.
You may pre-order on our website below or we'll have opportunities for students and families to pre-order during lunch or before school in the next couple weeks. Note, the website does have a 69 cent fee. You can also print the BOO GRAMS FORM here and turn it in with cash/check to the front office. Please include BOO GRAMS on the bag or envelope. Thank you!
Halloween Spooktacular - October 26th
Mark your calendars now for our Halloween Spooktacular hosted by the Davis Intermediate and McMillan Jr. High PTAs! This year's event will be held on Saturday, October 26th from 5-8pm in the back middle parking lot between our two schools! It is gonna be a SPOOKTACULAR night of fun! There will be a DJ, inflatables, carnival games, food trucks, dunk tank, face painting and more!
*FREE truck or treat from 5-7pm
*Costume contest at 7:15pm
*First prize for best Recyclable "Monster" (watch for more info)

Donation Drive 👕🧥 bring your Wylie ISD Spirit Wear, Collegiate Wear, Polos, Hoodies, and Coats to the Davis front office 😊 We appreciate all donations!
Scholastic Book Fair - Oct 25 - Nov 1st
The Book Fair will be set up in the Davis Library from Oct 25-Nov 1st. Students are able to shop before school and during lunch. You can set up your eWallet before the fair and shop online with the link below. We would also love parent volunteers, see the sign up genius.
Yearbook Pre-Order - Discounted Rate until October 31st
The YEARBOOK SALE DEADLINE is October 31st. Order now to save 10% on the Davis Intermediate yearbook!
You can order the discounted price now and design your free custom pages by April. Your student will want one! Be sure to order now so you don't have to remember in the spring. The sale ends October 31st!
Each book comes with 2 free custom pages you can design with your own photos and wording. You can pre-order anytime throughout the year and finalize your custom prior to April 18th.

Spirit Night - Nov 7th
Davis PTA will receive a percent of sales during this fundraiser. Participate on Nov 7, 2024 by ordering online with Promo Code FUND4U or by visiting Panera Bread in Murphy and showing this fundraiser flyer or mentioning the fundraiser at checkout.
A little about our PTA Membership:
The purpose of Davis PTA is to support and enhance Davis Intermediate School by providing services for school functions, engage in fundraising projects, encourage parent, teacher, and community involvement, and cooperate with school administration in providing educational opportunities. Funds that are raised by the PTA are used to purchase items and equipment that would not otherwise be provided.
The best way you can support Davis Intermediate is becoming a PTA member, it's only $10 and there's no time commitment. There are several perks for student members as well as parents and families. Anyone can join the Davis Intermediate PTA for the 2024-2025 school year. We encourage everyone to become active members of the PTA including parents, teachers, students, siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, community members, and friends! Money raised through PTA membership help us continue to put on fun events throughout the year. We also provide lunches for teachers and staff throughout the year. WatchDOGS and MOD Squad - All Year!
Both programs are designed to provide positive role models, engagement in education, and give an extra set of eyes to enhance security and reduce bullying. Fill out the form below if you are interested in volunteering as a WatchDOG or MOD Squad MOM. Choose one day or several days and the students and teachers will love your presence! How man you help?
Money raised through fundraisers like our APEX Run, Spirit Nights and PTA membership help us continue to bring educational and outside programs in for the students to enjoy, help put on fun in-school events like Field Day, provide popsicles and other treats on special days at school, and host fun family events like the Back to School Bash, Fall Carnival, Winter Dance, Color Run, Movie Night, Student Night Out and other activities throughout the year. The PTA has also helped benefit the school by donating various items to the school that benefits the teachers and students, such as furniture, lanyards, teaching supplies/materials for our teachers, and purchasing playground equipment for our students to play on outside at recess!

APEX Fundraising - August 19-30
During the Apex fundraiser, students will be challenged to get donations from family and friends to help our school. We'll end the 2-week fundraiser with a celebratory event called "The Apex Games" for students who participate in the fundraiser (think inflatables, games, fun raffle prizes, snacks, loud music, high energy, and FUN!)
Funds raised will go towards Davis Intermediate school programs and events!
How the Apex Fundraiser works: Log on to Anython.com Students will receive their own unique access code on Launch Rally day. Help connect your students to potential donors - Share your student's Anython.com donation page through email, text, Facebook and Twitter by using the Share Wizard tool! Through the shared link, donors can enter and pay their donations online.
Prepare for Launch Rally, August 20th: They will ask students to come to the Launch Rally with at least 20 emails of family and friends (potential sponsors) in a text message on their phones or Chromebooks. Please help your students gather these email addresses. You can email them this list so they can open it on their devices to use at the launch rally. This step is extremely crucial to a successful launch to our fundraiser. See a tutorial here https://anython.com/share.
August 30th, Apex Games Requirements: Students must raise a minimum $ in total donations in order to participate in The Apex Games event. All donations must be paid online, or cash/checks turned into the school by 10:00am on event day to participate in The Apex Games event. We'd love to have parent volunteers on Apex Games Day.
