All volunteers must have a current background check on file. Background checks are available to complete online through Wylie ISD.
INTERESTED IN VOLUNTEERING?
We LOVE parent volunteers! We have many fun events PTA will be hosting this year for our Davis Marauders but we need YOUR help! Whether it is donating your time, donating items, or working on projects from your home, there are different ways you can volunteer to help make events a success. WATCH D.O.G.S or M.O.D. SQUAD
Become a WatchDOG or a Mom on Duty for the day! Both programs are designed to provide positive role models, engagement in education, and give an extra set of eyes to enhance security and reduce bullying. WATCH D.O.G.S. (Dads Of Great Students) is one of the nation’s largest and most respected school-based, family, and community engagement, organizations in the country.
M.O.D. Squad (Moms On Duty) is a district school-based program for moms to become involved at their students’ school.
TEACHER APPRECIATION
Throughout the year, we host several lunches to show teachers and staff how much we appreciate them. Please follow us on Facebook to stay up on these events. Sign-up Genius links may be posted for specific items and events. We would love any extra hands or donated items. It's a great way to meet teachers and other parents.
